What Am I?

November 2004

[ Another poem I wrote when I was 9 years old!]

I am an amphibian,
As tiny as can be.
I sit on a little leaf,
Not seen by a flea.

My skin can change colors,
But my underside cannot.
My favorite thing to do,
Is duplicate a spot.

I sit quietly,
On that tiny leaf.
I finally get my catch;
Mmm, it tastes life beef!

But now I am in danger,
For my enemy is near.
I jump off to safety,
Although no one can hear.
